EVENING OF CAROL SINGING: The Champlain Trail Museum is again hosting an Evening of Carol Singing in the Micksburg Church on the museum grounds. FAMILY SKATE FUNDRAISER: The 9th annual Family Skate hosted by Mark and Megan Robillard is scheduled for Friday, Dec. 27 at the Pembroke Memorial Centre. The event is in support of the Valley Warriors hockey program to purchase jerseys, socks, ball caps and pucks with the program’s logo. If extra money is raised, it will be donated to Destig and the Robbie Dean Family Counselling Centre. The family skate is at 3 p.m., a kid’s game at 4 p.m. and an adult game at 5 p.m. Beverages and raffle draw take place following adult game.
